- • Virtus Investment Partners is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Regional Sales Director to represent our comprehensive suite of investment offerings, including mutual funds, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), and Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), to a diverse range of investment professionals and intermediaries. This pivotal role focuses on the Wire Channel within the Northern California territory, demanding a deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and advisor practice management.
- • As a Senior Regional Sales Director, you will be the primary point of contact for financial advisors, independent broker-dealers, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), and wirehouse firms. Your core responsibility will be to cultivate and nurture strong, lasting relationships with these key stakeholders, positioning Virtus as a trusted partner in their investment solutions.
- • This role requires you to act as a subject matter expert, possessing an in-depth knowledge of Virtus's investment products. You will articulate the underlying investment strategies, the rationale behind product positioning, the key drivers of performance, and the relevant market context that influences investment decisions. Your ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights will be crucial for success.
- • Beyond product expertise, you will engage advisors in strategic discussions around practice management and portfolio construction. This consultative approach aims to help advisors enhance their own client offerings and achieve their business objectives, thereby strengthening their reliance on Virtus solutions.
- • You will be responsible for leading proactive sales initiatives across your defined territory. This involves identifying opportunities, developing targeted outreach strategies, and executing them effectively to drive asset growth and deepen client penetration.
- • A significant aspect of the role involves understanding the unique needs and challenges of each intermediary and their clients. You will coordinate internal Virtus resources and expertise to ensure these needs are met, providing tailored solutions and exceptional service.
- • Conducting engaging and informative sales and product training meetings for assigned territories is a key responsibility. These sessions will educate advisors on Virtus's capabilities, new product launches, and market insights, empowering them to better serve their clients.
