- • Lead high-impact regulatory compliance projects for Match Group’s portfolio of dating brands over a 6-month temporary assignment.
- • Produce clear, defensible, regulator-ready written materials including risk assessments, compliance narratives, and formal responses to regulatory inquiries.
- • Translate complex global regulatory requirements into actionable product implementation options for product, engineering, and data science teams.
- • Serve as a senior individual contributor, managing projects end-to-end with minimal supervision and high autonomy.
- • Communicate compliance concepts to technical audiences and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with precision and clarity.
- • Identify gaps and next steps needed to meet both the letter and spirit of evolving regulatory standards across jurisdictions.
- • Collaborate closely with the Trust & Safety team on sensitive subject matter, including potential exposure to sensitive visual content.
- • Operate as a hands-on changemaker by proactively driving compliance initiatives beyond documentation to influence product design and policy.
- • Work in-person three days per week at the Dallas, Texas office, with remote work permitted on the remaining two days.
- • Maintain rigorous standards for accuracy, consistency, and legal defensibility in all regulatory documentation.
- • Engage with internal stakeholders across legal, product, engineering, and data teams to align compliance strategy with business objectives.
- • Ensure all regulatory outputs are structured to withstand scrutiny from global regulators and auditors.
- • Adapt quickly to shifting regulatory landscapes and prioritize tasks based on urgency, risk, and regulatory deadlines.
- • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive operational and user data related to Trust & Safety initiatives.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance frameworks and documentation templates across Match Group brands.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading regulatory compliance documentation projects in a fast-paced, global technology environment
- • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a track record of producing clear, precise, and regulator-ready materials
- • Ability to translate complex technical and legal concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Experience working with sensitive content and high-stakes compliance matters, particularly in Trust & Safety or online safety domains
- • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently drive open-ended, multi-stakeholder initiatives to completion
- • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks affecting digital platforms (e.g., EU DSA, UK Online Safety Act, COPPA, etc.)
