- • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for high-value, complex customer accounts, including multi-product and custom contracts, ensuring high retention rates and strengthened client relationships.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during renewal discussions, guiding them through contract negotiations, term adjustments, and value alignment.
- • Apply a consultative approach to proactively identify and mitigate churn risks while uncovering cross-sell and upsell opportunities aligned with customer needs and expansion strategies.
- • Lead commercial negotiations with procurement and executive stakeholders, strategically reducing discounting over time by reinforcing product value, aligning on outcomes, and promoting standardized pricing and contract terms.
- • Leverage usage analytics, customer health data, and historical renewal behavior to forecast risks and opportunities, proposing tailored renewal strategies to improve retention and satisfaction.
- • Collaborate closely with legal, finance, sales, customer success, and operations teams to resolve complex contract or billing issues, ensure accurate forecasting, and execute seamless renewals.
- • Educate customers on product enhancements, roadmap alignment, and recent features to strengthen the business case for renewal and expansion.
- • Capture and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to inform product improvements and service enhancements.
- • Ensure all renewal agreements are properly documented, compliant with company policies, and accurately recorded in CRM and contract management systems.
- • Contribute to the optimization of renewal processes, templates, and tooling, serving as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and Gainsight.
- • Mentor junior team members in best practices for renewals, customer engagement, and system usage.
- • Utilize AI-powered tools daily for real-time coaching, insight surfacing, and decision support to enhance efficiency and customer engagement.
- • Participate in occasional department-wide offsites, quarterly meetings, and customer events held across Canada, the USA, and EMEA, as required.

🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in renewals, account management, and/or customer success within a software or technology environment
- • Strong knowledge of SaaS business models, subscription terms, and recurring revenue principles
- • Proven experience handling complex or strategic renewal and expansion negotiations
- • Demonstrated success in reducing discounting, improving renewal profitability, and influencing cross-sell opportunities
- • Proficient in Salesforce, Gainsight, and related CRM/CSM tooling
- • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
