📋 Description

• The Senior Revenue Cycle Project Management Business Analyst leads cross-functional initiatives to drive performance improvement across revenue cycle operations, blending project management, performance analytics, and process standardization to ensure successful delivery of initiatives that improve key financial and operational outcomes.
• Day to day, the person will lead and manage multiple revenue cycle projects, develop project plans and timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor progress and KPIs, resolve risks or issues, drive process standardization, mentor junior team members, and conduct post-project reviews to implement improvements.
• R1 RCM is a leading provider of technology-driven revenue cycle management solutions that transform the patient experience and financial performance of hospitals, health systems, and physician groups by combining deep domain expertise with advanced analytics, automation, and workflow optimization.
• In this role, the person can learn advanced project management methodologies, deepen expertise in healthcare revenue cycle functions (Patient Access, Billing, AR, Denials), gain proficiency in analytics tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau, and develop leadership skills by mentoring junior staff while contributing to measurable improvements in hospital financial performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in revenue cycle, healthcare operations, analytics, or project management
• Strong understanding of core revenue cycle functions (Patient Access, Billing, AR, Denials)
• Experience managing projects, tracking KPIs, and driving performance improvements
• Proficiency in reporting/analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel) preferred
