- ā¢ The Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst serves as a subject-matter expert in charge capture, charge workflow optimization, revenue reconciliation, and evaluation of new or enhanced services, playing a critical role in safeguarding and maximizing healthcare revenue integrity.
- ā¢ Day-to-day responsibilities include leading complex investigations into revenue leakage, developing and implementing corrective action plans, reviewing Epic charging logic (charge triggers, routing rules, work queues), conducting advanced analytics to identify financial variances and operational risks, and designing reports, dashboards, and analyses to support enterprise-wide process improvements.
- ā¢ The role operates within Saint Francis Health Systemās Patient Accounting team at the Yale Campus, collaborating closely with clinical operations, coding, finance, IT, and revenue cycle leadership to ensure accurate charging practices within the Epic electronic health record system.
- ā¢ In this role, the analyst will deepen expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, master Epic-based charge capture workflows, develop leadership and mentorship skills by guiding junior analysts, and drive measurable improvements in revenue integrity, compliance, and financial performance across service lines.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ Minimum 5 years of experience in billing, charge capture, charge description master (CDM) management, revenue cycle analytics, or revenue integrity within healthcare.
- ā¢ Advanced knowledge of healthcare coding systems (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) and reimbursement methodologies.
- ā¢ Strong understanding of Epic workflows, including charge router, charge review, work queues, and CDM integration.
- ā¢ Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from HFMA preferred; Epic certifications (Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Revenue Integrity) preferred.
- ā¢ Bachelorās degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred (high school diploma/GED required).
