- • Senior RTL Engineer responsible for owning critical on- and off-chip interconnect components for OpenAI’s custom AI accelerator platform, driving design from requirements through full silicon lifecycle.
- • Day-to-day tasks include microarchitecture and RTL coding of network-on-chip fabrics, switches, routers, bridges, protocol adapters, arbiters, and traffic-management logic, as well as off-chip protocol interfaces; collaborating with architecture, verification, physical design, firmware, and performance teams; mentoring junior engineers; and leading design reviews and documentation.
- • Part of OpenAI’s Hardware organization, which builds next-generation AI-native silicon and infrastructure to support large-scale training and inference systems for advanced AI workloads.
- • Opportunity to lead complex silicon delivery, deepen expertise in high-performance interconnect design, influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to production-quality AI hardware at scale.
