📋 Description
- • The Senior Sales Development Representative supports a remote sales team and is responsible for generating new business via inbound and outbound phone opportunity qualification, playing a critical role in building Tenable’s sales pipeline and driving revenue growth.
- • Day to day, the person will perform outbound calling to generate new sales opportunities, follow up on inbound sales inquiries, schedule meetings and demos for Territory Managers after lead qualification, promote Tenable events and webinars, research target accounts for outbound campaigns, manage and update contact and account databases, make 50+ calls per day, and generate a minimum of 7 new meetings/demos per week.

- • In this role, the person can develop advanced sales prospecting and lead qualification skills, gain deep exposure to cybersecurity solutions and enterprise sales processes, build expertise in CRM tools like Salesforce, and grow into a high-performing sales professional with clear pathways for advancement within Tenable’s sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-3 years of experience in sales or similar client support role
- • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- • Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision
- • Computer proficiency – experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
- • Bachelor’s degree
