- • As a Senior Sales Director at GE Aerospace, you will serve as the primary customer-facing leader responsible for winning complex business in the Maritime and Naval markets, directly influencing commercial strategy, budget ownership, and long-term growth for gas turbine systems solutions.
- • You will formulate and execute sales and proposal strategies for Marine Gas Turbines, leading deal structuring, pricing, and negotiations with Navy leadership, acquisition authorities, and shipyard executives while identifying new business opportunities with internal partners to drive lifecycle support offerings and market expansion.
- • You will develop deep commercial and domain expertise in naval and maritime markets, including shipbuilding programs, mid-life upgrades, and fleet support, enabling you to influence commercial strategy and policy across diverse regional sales territories.
- • You will apply industry insight to interpret defense and maritime trends, recommend best practices, and use knowledge of Navy procurement processes and competitive technologies to shape opportunity qualification, investment decisions, and value propositions tailored to naval requirements.
- • You will lead complex, cross-functional sales campaigns by collaborating with engineering, program management, legal, finance, and product line teams to evaluate information quality, resolve conflicts, and deliver robust, customer-driven proposals that meet stringent naval and shipyard specifications.
- • You will manage key stakeholder risks and navigate intricate business and governmental relationships across Navy organizations, shipyards, channel partners, and internal functions, communicating persuasively and negotiating internally and externally to align strategy, resolve issues, and secure favorable commercial outcomes while influencing peers and senior leaders to support strategic capture efforts and long-term account plans.
- • You will operate within GE Aerospace’s innovative and collaborative culture at the John F. Welch Technology Center in Bengaluru, contributing to a legacy of engineering excellence that has produced hundreds of aviation patents and breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.

🎯 Requirements
- • Significant professional experience in Sales & Proposal, Business Development, or Commercial Operations, preferably in maritime, naval, or marine propulsion systems, with strong knowledge of gas turbine technology (ideally LM2500) and marine systems integration.
- • Typically 10+ years of experience in sales, maritime market roles, naval leadership, or marine/defense business development, with a proven track record of winning complex deals, engaging senior customer levels, and leading cross-functional teams in naval or shipbuilding environments.
- • Knowledge level comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine/Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
