  • • As a Senior Sales Engineer at RevenueCat, you will serve as the primary technical advisor and often the first point of contact for inbound prospects, combining deep product expertise with consultative selling to help app developers and teams evaluate and implement in-app subscription solutions. Your role is pivotal in guiding prospects from initial curiosity to confident implementation by demonstrating how RevenueCat’s platform simplifies monetization infrastructure, reduces engineering overhead, and accelerates time to revenue—directly impacting the success of hundreds of thousands of apps globally.
  • • You will lead technical discovery calls and live demos, diagnosing prospects’ current subscription setups, identifying integration opportunities, and building lightweight proof-of-concepts—such as replicating a paywall in RevenueCat’s builder—to make solutions tangible. You’ll tailor conversations to both technical and business audiences, explaining how SDKs, APIs, webhooks, and analytics fit into existing stacks while highlighting growth levers like reduced churn, improved conversion, and faster iteration cycles.
  • • You will manage the full lifecycle of inbound technical evaluations, from first touch through validation, ensuring prospects receive honest, timely, and actionable guidance. This includes knowing when to recommend a quick implementation, suggest further evaluation, or advise that RevenueCat may not yet be the right fit—always prioritizing long-term customer success over short-term wins.
  • • You will collaborate with Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and Growth teams to create scalable enablement assets such as short tutorial videos, sample apps, integration guides, and walkthroughs that empower thousands of developers to self-serve and accelerate their evaluation process. You’ll maintain demo environments and internal knowledge bases to ensure consistency across Sales, Success, and Support teams.
  • • You will act as a critical feedback conduit between customers and internal product, engineering, and marketing teams, surfacing recurring technical challenges, feature requests, and use-case insights to shape future product roadmaps—especially as RevenueCat launches new standalone experiences.
  • • You will continuously improve the evaluation funnel by tracking key metrics such as time-to-first-value, demo-to-decision velocity, and drop-off points, using data to refine your approach, optimize enablement materials, and contribute to higher conversion rates in your owned segments.
  • • Within your first month, you’ll ramp up on RevenueCat’s SDKs, APIs, and common integration patterns (iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native), deliver your first solo demo after shadowing senior engineers, and contribute a tangible improvement like a new sample paywall or internal guide.
  • • By month three, you’ll independently manage the technical side of inbound deals end-to-end, launch your first one-to-many enablement asset (e.g., a reusable demo flow or guide), and begin partnering with Strategic Account Managers on complex, high-value prospects.
  • • At six months, you’ll have shortened evaluation cycles in your pipeline, published or updated at least two sample apps or integration guides, co-hosted bi-weekly office hours or a public webinar, and demonstrated deep fluency across the RevenueCat platform.
  • • After twelve months, you’ll be recognized as the go-to technical expert for enterprise and high-complexity prospects, mentoring new Sales Engineers, significantly improving conversion from lead to win in your segments, and helping scale the enablement library to support global growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Developer Advocate at a SaaS or developer-tools company
  • • Proficiency with mobile development stacks and comfort reading/writing code in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, Flutter/Dart, or React Native with TypeScript
  • • Strong ability to translate technical concepts (SDKs, APIs, integrations) into clear business value for both developers and non-technical stakeholders
