  • • As a Senior Sales Engineer at Ping Identity, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between complex identity management solutions and the critical business needs of our enterprise clients. This role is a vital component of our sales organization, requiring a unique blend of deep technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and exceptional consultative skills. You will be the primary technical point of contact for prospective customers, guiding them through the evaluation process and demonstrating how Ping Identity's intelligent, cloud identity platform can deliver secure, seamless digital experiences without compromise. Your contributions will directly impact customer success by ensuring they understand and can leverage our cutting-edge solutions to achieve their strategic objectives, fostering digital freedom for their users and their businesses.   • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and engaging, centered around supporting the sales team and driving technical wins. You will conduct in-depth solution demonstrations, tailored presentations, and provide expert technical guidance to potential clients, showcasing the unique value proposition of Ping Identity's offerings. A significant part of your role will involve leading and executing proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, where you will architect and implement solutions to address specific customer challenges, proving the efficacy and capabilities of our platform. You will also be responsible for responding to technical questionnaires and requests for proposals (RfXs), ensuring that our technical responses are accurate, comprehensive, and compelling. Building and maintaining strong, trusted advisor relationships with customers will be paramount, requiring you to deeply understand their technical environments, business goals, and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with account executives throughout the sales cycle, providing critical technical expertise during qualification, discovery, and the technical proof phases to ensure alignment and drive towards successful outcomes. Furthermore, you will act as the central technical expert for Ping Identity solutions, serving as a go-to resource for customers, partners, and internal sales and engineering teams. This involves staying abreast of product developments and providing valuable feedback to product management regarding customer needs and potential enhancements, directly influencing the future direction of our technology. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth and development within the organization. Your role will extend to coordinating pre-sales efforts with post-sales service delivery teams, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation for our clients. You will lead customer-facing meetings, both remotely via videoconferencing and in-person, delivering presentations, conducting whiteboarding sessions, and performing demonstrations at industry events and customer sites. Finally, you will develop and maintain subject matter expert-level knowledge in at least one of Ping Identity's core solutions, becoming a recognized expert within the company and a valuable resource for your colleagues.
