- • This is a unique opportunity to be the first Sales Engineer on the ground in New Zealand, leveraging the support of a robust Sales Engineering team across Australia and Singapore to shape the future of this role and our presence in the region.
- • You will be instrumental in driving sales cycles by showcasing your deep technical expertise and consultative skills, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders from technical teams to senior leadership.
- • Your primary focus will be to understand customer business challenges and translate them into effective, tailored solutions using Ping Identity's intelligent, cloud identity platform.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to pre-sales activities, including delivering compelling solution demonstrations, insightful presentations, providing expert technical guidance, and executing successful proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- • You will be responsible for responding to Requests for Information (RfIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), articulating the technical and business value proposition of Ping Identity's offerings.
- • Building and nurturing strong, enduring relationships with customers will be key, positioning yourself as their trusted technical advisor in the complex landscape of identity and access management (IAM).
- • You will collaborate closely with the sales team, providing critical technical support throughout the sales cycle, particularly during the Qualification, Discovery, and Technical Proof phases, to ensure revenue targets are met.
- • A crucial aspect of this role involves coordinating pre-sales efforts with post-sales service delivery teams, ensuring a seamless transition and successful implementation of solutions for our clients.
- • You will lead customer-facing meetings, both virtually and in-person, delivering engaging presentations, conducting whiteboarding sessions, and demonstrating the full capabilities of Ping Identity solutions.
- • Your insights will be invaluable in providing feedback to product owners regarding product enhancements and emerging customer needs, directly influencing the future development of our platform.
- • You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, both formally and informally, contributing to the growth and development of the broader Sales Engineering team.
- • Developing and maintaining subject matter expert-level knowledge in at least one of Ping Identity's core solutions is expected, enabling you to serve as a go-to expert for colleagues across the organization.
- • Fostering strong relationships with our delivery partners is essential. You will work collaboratively to support the technical sales relationship and develop mutually beneficial plans for the successful delivery of Ping Identity solutions.
- • You will also support partner teams in understanding our solutions and delivering enablement programs to drive business goals and expand our ecosystem.
- • Providing pre-sales technical guidance to partners, including product demonstrations, POCs, and technical workshops, will be a key responsibility in strengthening our channel.
- • This role requires a willingness to travel between 15% and 40% as needed to support customer and partner engagements across the region.
