  • • As a Senior Sales Engineer at Ping Identity, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between cutting-edge identity management technology and the complex needs of enterprise clients, particularly within the healthcare sector. This role is crucial for driving sales success by providing deep technical expertise and consultative guidance throughout the sales cycle. You will be the technical champion for Ping Identity's solutions, ensuring that potential customers understand the profound business and technical advantages our platform offers, thereby enabling them to achieve their digital transformation goals securely and seamlessly. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and revenue generation by delivering tailored solutions that address critical identity and access management challenges.
  • • In your day-to-day activities, you will be deeply involved in pre-sales engagements. This includes conducting compelling solution demonstrations that highlight the value proposition of Ping Identity's offerings, delivering insightful technical guidance to prospective clients, and leading proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to showcase the practical application and effectiveness of our solutions in real-world scenarios. You will also be responsible for crafting thorough and accurate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other customer inquiries, ensuring all technical requirements are met. A significant part of your role will involve acting as the primary technical expert for customers, partners, and internal sales teams, building and nurturing enduring relationships to become a trusted advisor. You will collaborate closely with account executives and other sales personnel, providing critical technical support during key sales phases such as qualification, discovery, and the technical proof phase. Furthermore, you will coordinate pre-sales efforts with post-sales service delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation for clients. Leading customer-facing meetings, whether conducted via videoconferencing or in-person, will be a regular occurrence, where you will present, whiteboard complex concepts, and demonstrate Ping Identity solutions and their inherent value. You will also be tasked with providing valuable feedback on product enhancements and emerging customer needs directly to product owners, influencing the future direction of our technology. A key aspect of this senior role involves mentoring junior team members, both formally and informally, sharing your expertise and fostering their development. You will also be expected to develop deep subject matter expert-level knowledge in at least one of Ping Identity's core solutions, serving as a go-to resource for other Sales Engineers within the organization. Finally, you will be expected to travel between 15% and 40% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events.
