  • • Design and evolve leadership development programs to strengthen field-based leadership initiatives and sales manager capabilities across the US Sales organization.
  • • Develop and deliver onboarding programs for new US Sales Leaders (District Business Managers) to ensure seamless role transitions and sustained leadership effectiveness.
  • • Partner with cross-functional commercial teams to assess training needs, apply adult learning principles, and integrate innovative facilitation methods and technology to drive continuous improvement.
  • • Plan and support training activities for US District Business Manager quarterly meetings and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions.
  • • Lead the Field Development Program by coordinating curriculum design, facilitation, and stakeholder alignment to build future-ready sales leaders.
  • • Manage the Sales Enablement Platform functionality specifically for US Sales Leaders, ensuring optimal use and alignment with training objectives.
  • • Collaborate with Global Sales Training Partners to share best practices, align content, and standardize leadership development approaches across regions.
  • • Translate sales data analytics and metrics into actionable insights to identify training gaps and proactively evolve learning strategies.
  • • Apply working knowledge of sales enablement platforms and sales performance metrics to enhance training impact and learner empowerment.
  • • Demonstrate strong project management skills by planning, coordinating resources, and delivering training initiatives within defined timelines and parameters.
  • • Manage stakeholder expectations and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • • Maintain deep understanding of competencies required for medical and pharmaceutical sales leaders and leverage coaching skills to drive desired leadership behaviors.
  • • Travel up to 15–25% to support in-person training events, meetings, and field engagements.
  • • Ensure all training programs align with Dexcom’s mission to empower people to take control of their health through innovative continuous glucose monitoring technology.
  • • Contribute to a culture of learning and development that supports Dexcom’s ambition to become a leading consumer health technology company.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 13 years of related experience in sales leadership or training; graduate degree preferred with 6 years of related experience.
  • • Proven experience as a people leader in diabetes-related medical or pharmaceutical sales.
  • • Demonstrated expertise in designing, delivering, and managing leadership training programs for field-based sales teams.
  • • Working knowledge of sales enablement platforms, sales data analytics, and performance metrics.
  • • Strong verbal, written communication, and facilitation/presentation skills.
  • • Proven project management skills with ability to coordinate resources and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
