📋 Description

• As a Senior Salesforce Engineer (CPQ) at Motiv Inc., you will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that empower internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Finance to drive global growth and operational efficiency. Your work will directly impact how Motive serves nearly 100,000 customers by enabling seamless, automated, and data-driven processes in a unified platform.
• You will develop efficient, high-quality code on the Salesforce platform, ensuring adherence to best practices, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and writing/test classes for all custom development to support reliable, production-ready systems.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding program scope and timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and translate customer requirements into technical solutions, and actively participating in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• You will conduct product demonstrations during Sprint Reviews, present technical solutions via Proof of Concepts (POCs) when needed, and respond swiftly to production disruptions with a strong bias for action to minimize downtime and maintain system integrity.
• You will work closely with technical subject matter experts to analyze business needs and design tailored Salesforce solutions using CPQ, LWC, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, and JavaScript, including customizing applications, integrating third-party systems, and architecting scalable architectures.
• You will contribute to continuous improvement by recommending optimizations for existing Salesforce implementations, maintaining production quality, managing technical debt, and supporting DevOps procedures including CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GearSet, and SFDX.
• You will stay current with Salesforce innovations through ongoing learning, certifications, training programs, and industry events, ensuring your expertise remains aligned with platform evolution and best practices.
• You will contribute to technical documentation and foster a culture of knowledge sharing, helping to elevate team capability and ensure long-term maintainability of solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 5+ years of Salesforce application development experience
• Salesforce CPQ certification, Platform Developer I certification or higher
• Expert proficiency in CPQ, LWC, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience implementing and executing CPQ solutions
• Extensive experience integrating Salesforce with third-party and external systems via SOAP, REST, and Bulk APIs
• Proficient in CI/CD DevOps practices using GitHub, GearSet, and familiarity with SFDX
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud (Commerce Cloud preferred)
• Practical experience leveraging GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
