📋 Description

• Shape the future of enterprise cloud landscapes as a Senior SAP Cloud Developer Architect at Nagarro Engineer. You will own the end-to-end architecture of large-scale SAP solutions that run on S/4HANA Public Cloud, SuccessFactors, and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), directly influencing how thousands of users interact with critical business processes every day.
• Translate complex business blueprints into elegant, scalable cloud architectures. You will run discovery workshops with C-level stakeholders, map pain points to SAP capabilities, and create high-level solution designs that balance innovation, cost, and time-to-market. Your decisions will set the technical direction for multi-year transformation programs.
• Drive hands-on development and code reviews across ABAP RESTful Programming, Fiori/UI5, SAP Cloud Integration, and Adobe/ SAP Forms. You will set coding standards, enforce clean-code principles, and mentor squads of 5-10 developers, ensuring every commit meets enterprise-grade quality gates and security baselines.
• Lead integration initiatives that connect SAP with Salesforce, AWS, Azure, and legacy on-premise systems. You will design event-driven interfaces, orchestrate API-led connectivity, and implement robust error-handling patterns that guarantee 99.9 % uptime for mission-critical workflows.
• Optimize performance and cost continuously. You will profile Fiori apps, tune CDS views, refactor integration flows, and leverage BTP auto-scaling features to cut monthly cloud spend while improving response times. Your dashboards will be the single source of truth for capacity planning and ROI tracking.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD for SAP. You will configure Git-based repositories, set up automated ABAP unit tests, integrate SAP Cloud Transport Management, and roll out blue-green deployments that reduce release risk from hours to minutes.
• Provide pre-sales and post-go-live expertise. You will join customer workshops to demonstrate prototypes, craft compelling technical proposals, and later act as the trusted advisor who turns early adopters into lifelong advocates.
• Stay ahead of the SAP roadmap. You will evaluate new BTP services, pilot CAP (Cloud Application Programming) models, and run internal enablement sessions so the entire practice remains at the cutting edge of cloud innovation.
• Foster a culture of psychological safety and continuous learning. You will run weekly architecture guilds, sponsor hackathons, and create reusable accelerators that shorten future project timelines by 30 %.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP development with at least 3 years focused on S/4HANA Public Cloud or SuccessFactors implementations
• Proven expertise in ABAP RESTful Programming Model, Fiori/UI5, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), and Adobe/Smart Forms
• Demonstrated experience designing secure, scalable cloud architectures on SAP BTP with deep knowledge of Cloud Foundry and Kyma runtime
• Strong communication skills in English and ideally German, with the ability to present complex technical topics to both engineers and executives
• Nice-to-have: SAP certification in Development (C_CPE_14, C_FIORDEV_22) or Architecture (C_ARCIG_2302), plus prior involvement in pre-sales activities
