- • As a Senior Schedule Advisor / Master Scheduler, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the strategic timelines for critical government client projects. This pivotal role demands a blend of strategic foresight, meticulous planning, and expert communication to ensure seamless program execution and delivery.
- • You will serve as the primary subject matter expert on scheduling best practices, offering guidance and mentorship to senior clients and internal team members. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing and enforcing robust scheduling methodologies that align with project objectives and organizational goals.
- • A core responsibility involves the hands-on development, maintenance, and rigorous analysis of the program’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). This involves translating complex project plans into a cohesive, actionable schedule that clearly articulates dependencies, milestones, and critical path activities.
- • You will be responsible for ensuring the IMS accurately reflects the interdependencies across multiple workstreams, diverse teams, and a wide array of stakeholders, fostering a unified understanding of the program's trajectory.
- • Proactive risk identification and mitigation will be a key aspect of your role. You will analyze the schedule to identify potential delays, resource conflicts, and other risks, developing and recommending strategies to preemptively address these challenges and maintain project momentum.
- • Close collaboration with program leadership is essential. You will provide regular, insightful updates on schedule status, performance against baseline, and forecast projections, enabling informed decision-making at the highest levels.
- • You will work hand-in-hand with technical teams to understand the intricacies of their workstreams, ensuring that technical milestones and dependencies are accurately captured and integrated into the overall program schedule.
- • Engaging directly with government clients will be a significant part of your day-to-day. You will build strong relationships, understand their unique requirements, and communicate complex scheduling information in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.
- • Your role will involve the continuous monitoring and updating of the IMS to reflect actual progress, changes in scope, and evolving project requirements, ensuring the schedule remains a dynamic and reliable tool.
- • You will contribute to the development and refinement of scheduling processes and tools, driving continuous improvement in how the organization plans and manages its projects.
- • This position requires a deep understanding of project management principles, particularly as they apply to large-scale, complex programs, often within a government contracting environment.
- • You will be expected to analyze schedule variances, perform 'what-if' scenario planning, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- • The ability to translate technical jargon and project specifics into a clear, understandable schedule narrative for non-technical stakeholders is paramount.
- • You will champion the importance of schedule adherence and provide training or guidance to project teams on effective scheduling techniques.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the success of significant government initiatives by ensuring that planning and execution are synchronized and optimized.
- • You will be a key player in fostering a culture of proactive planning and accountability within the project teams you support.
- • The company prides itself on its agile and digital services-focused approach, and you will be expected to integrate these principles into your scheduling methodologies where appropriate, adapting to evolving client needs.
- • You will contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring that client projects are delivered on time and within scope, reinforcing the company's reputation for excellence.
- • This is a remote position, offering flexibility while requiring a high degree of self-discipline and proactive communication.
- • You will be part of a supportive team that values continuous growth and improvement, encouraging you to share your expertise and learn from others.
