- • ICF International, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our dynamic Digital Modernization Division. This division is at the forefront of providing integrated, strategic information technology and management consulting solutions to a diverse range of public and private-sector clients. We pride ourselves on our expertise, agility, and unwavering commitment to designing, building, and operating high-performance IT engines that power our clients' businesses.
- • As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and managing the agile scrum activities for one or more development teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the rigorous adherence to scrum principles and practices, while meticulously gathering and analyzing scrum metrics to provide clear visibility into the team's progress and performance. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying and resolving impediments, fostering an environment where continuous improvement and high performance are not just encouraged, but are the standard.
- • You will work in exceptionally close collaboration with Product Owners, acting as a key partner in establishing and enforcing sprint priorities, release delivery deadlines, and overall product roadmap execution. Your ability to coach and mentor team members, stakeholders, and leadership on Agile values, principles, and practices will be crucial in driving successful adoption and consistent application of the Agile/Scrum framework.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves facilitating all essential Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning sessions, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. You will be instrumental in ensuring these ceremonies are productive, engaging, and contribute directly to team alignment and progress.
- • You will be responsible for tracking and transparently communicating team progress, key metrics, and project outcomes to all relevant stakeholders. This includes developing and presenting reports that clearly articulate team velocity, sprint goals achieved, and any potential risks or dependencies.
- • Your role extends to supporting teams in identifying and implementing process improvements. This involves actively seeking opportunities to enhance team efficiency, collaboration, and overall delivery capabilities. You will champion transparency, collaboration, and open communication channels, not only within your assigned teams but also across different functional groups and departments.
- • You will actively engage with technical teams, including Data Engineering, BI Analysts, LLM Engineers, Service Designers, and Researchers, to foster seamless cross-functional collaboration and ensure integrated delivery of complex solutions. Your understanding of these technical domains will be valuable in facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
- • Furthermore, you will assist in the discovery of new opportunities for team growth and development, identifying areas where individuals and the team as a whole can enhance their skills and capabilities. You will also collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches within the organization to share best practices, lessons learned, and to align on the organization's overall Agile maturity journey.
- • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, standards, and governance related to Agile delivery is a key responsibility. You will act as a guardian of Agile best practices, ensuring that all project activities align with established guidelines and quality standards.
- • This position requires a deep commitment to Agile methodologies and a passion for enabling teams to achieve their full potential. You will be a catalyst for change, driving a culture of agility, adaptability, and continuous learning throughout the organization.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with diverse technical teams. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders at various levels will be essential for success in this role. You will be a key contributor to ICF's mission of delivering innovative and impactful solutions to our clients.
