• • As a Senior SDET Engineer I at AppViewX, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge AVX ONE platform. This role is crucial for maintaining the trust of our world-leading clients by guaranteeing the robustness of our automated certificate lifecycle management and PKI-as-a-Service solutions. You will be instrumental in preventing outages, reducing security incidents, and enabling crypto-agility for our customers, directly contributing to AppViewX's mission of reducing risk and increasing visibility through automation.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of software development engineering in test. You will be actively involved in test planning, meticulously designing tests using proven techniques to cover all aspects of our platform. A significant part of your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated automated test frameworks. These frameworks will be used for functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring that every release meets our stringent quality standards. You will write clean, reusable, and scalable test code, primarily leveraging languages like Java and Python, to build robust automation suites. Furthermore, you will be responsible for setting up and managing QA environments, diligently debugging any issues that arise, and ensuring that all builds are maintained to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be vital in continuously improving test coverage, enhancing test effectiveness, and increasing the overall reliability of our automation efforts. You will also oversee and guide the team in test case writing and execution, conduct thorough regression testing, and contribute to performance and stress testing initiatives. A key aspect of your role will be reporting all observed bugs clearly and concisely, and engaging in regular discussions with the development team to understand technical specifications and with the project management team for functional specifications. You will monitor progress towards project plans, intervening as necessary to keep projects on track, and will analyze risk and quality metrics across multiple projects to identify areas for improvement.
