- • As a Senior Security Consultant at Tenable, you will bring advanced expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing Tenable’s Exposure Management solutions to help organizations reduce cyber risk across their entire attack surface.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep client understanding, lead solution deployments and migrations, provide expert guidance on Tenable products, mentor junior consultants, support policy development, manage client escalations, and collaborate with internal teams to improve service offerings and drive customer satisfaction.

- • In this role, you will refine your skills across the Tenable portfolio through hands-on experience and strategic enablement, grow as a trusted advisor and thought leader in Exposure Management, and contribute to best practices while driving successful client outcomes and revenue objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology/Cyber Security and professional services
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, comfortable leading 3+ hour calls
- • Advanced ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex security issues across various environments
- • Proficiency in assessing threats and risks related to Exposure Management, including vulnerabilities in host/network configurations
- • Recent in-depth experience performing vulnerability scans, configuration audits, and security monitoring with Tenable products or similar solutions
- • Experience with Metasploit and related exploitation tools
- • Experience with application security testing, OWASP, and common web application threats
- • Knowledge of auditing and configuration frameworks such as ISO 17799, CIS, PCI, GLBA, HIPAA (preferred)
- • Familiarity with cyber security principles including vulnerability management, defence-in-depth, least-privilege, data protection, and common controls
- • Proven experience managing client expectations, building relationships, and delivering consultative advice
- • Experience defining and implementing exposure management programs, processes, and procedures
- • Deep understanding of IT security principles across networks, OS, firewalls, databases, cloud, IAM
- • Familiar with developing integrations via REST API using Python or similar languages
- • CISSP, CCSP, or other technical certifications preferred
- • Ability to work remotely in a self-directed manner
- • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- • Physically able to participate in training, presentations, and meetings
- • Client-facing and Tenable office travel may be required
