- • Serve as a senior security expert responsible for securing AutoFi’s digital commerce platform, cloud environments, internal systems, and third-party vendor ecosystem.
- • Collaborate directly with development teams and product managers to conduct secure design reviews and integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- • Establish and enforce application security standards across all AutoFi products and services to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry benchmarks.
- • Lead vulnerability management programs including identification, prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting of security weaknesses across infrastructure and applications.
- • Implement and maintain continuous security monitoring tools and processes to detect anomalies, unauthorized access, and potential threats in real time.
- • Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or suspected compromises, coordinating cross-functional teams to contain, investigate, and remediate incidents promptly.
- • Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify hidden vulnerabilities, adversary tactics, and emerging risks within AutoFi’s environment before they are exploited.
- • Perform comprehensive third-party security assessments of vendors and partners to ensure alignment with AutoFi’s security policies and risk tolerance.
- • Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to continuously improve AutoFi’s security posture.
- • Document and communicate security policies, procedures, and risk assessments to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- • Advocate for a culture of security awareness by providing guidance, training, and resources to engineering and operational teams.
- • Participate in the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies to enhance automation, detection, and response capabilities.
- • Ensure security controls are aligned with AutoFi’s mission to power secure, scalable, and compliant digital automotive finance transactions processing $4B annually.
- • Work remotely as part of a distributed U.S. and Canadian team with deep expertise in automotive finance and technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Senior Security Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced technology environment
- • Hands-on expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and securing distributed systems
- • Demonstrated ability to lead vulnerability management and incident response programs
- • Strong knowledge of application security standards, secure coding practices, and SDLC integration
- • Experience conducting third-party security assessments and vendor risk evaluations
- • Familiarity with threat modeling, threat hunting, and continuous security monitoring tools
