- • Senior Security Researcher at Bitsight Technologies, Inc., a cyber risk management leader transforming how companies manage exposure, performance, and risk for themselves and their third parties through innovative cyber ratings and integrated solutions.
- • Design and research new methods for data collection and application to introduce product features or enhance existing ones; perform data analysis on internal and external datasets to assess quality and feasibility of inference techniques for security properties.
- • Ideate new product features based on emerging security trends; provide subject matter expertise to influence security ratings methodology and policy; collaborate with product, engineering, and data partnerships teams to develop specifications and maintain technical liaisons.
- • Conduct research, writing, and presentations to support marketing and customer engagement; work within a global team of over 750 teammates across Boston, Raleigh, New York, Lisbon, Singapore, and remote locations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong technical background with expertise in networking concepts, information security, and cryptography.
- • Proficient in standard scripting languages for coding data collection, analysis, and processing prototypes.
- • Ability to conduct statistical experiments and test hypotheses.
- • Proven track record in security data analysis and presentation.
- • Interested in learning distributed computing technologies such as PySpark/EMR/Hadoop.
- • B.S/M.S in Computer Science or similar field or commensurate experience.
