- • Senior Site Reliability Engineer responsible for strengthening the reliability, performance, and scalability of systems at PlayOn! Sports, bridging software engineering and operations to build tools, automation, and visibility for resilient software delivery.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing and improving system visibility by reviewing dashboards, metrics, and logs; refining monitoring and alerting for critical services; building observability into CI/CD pipelines; defining SLIs and SLOs for core user flows; improving incident response coordination; and automating routine monitoring tasks to reduce manual effort.
- • Works closely with application engineers, DevOps, and QA teams to evolve infrastructure, CI/CD, observability frameworks, and reliability practices in a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, performance analysis, and continuous improvement.
- • Opportunity to shape reliability standards, mentor others, and drive data-driven decisions about performance and stability across all services, with growing influence over time as you deepen system understanding and lead broader initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer with strong background in software engineering and operations
- • Proficiency in building tools, automation, and visibility for system reliability and performance
- • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, observability frameworks, and monitoring/alerting systems
- • Ability to define SLIs and SLOs and improve incident response processes
- • Skill in automating routine tasks to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
- • Collaborative experience working with application engineers, DevOps, and QA teams
