- • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at SEON Technologies Ltd., you will be at the forefront of ensuring the unwavering reliability, exceptional scalability, and peak performance of our cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. SEON is a global leader in fraud prevention and AML compliance, empowering thousands of companies worldwide to combat fraud, mitigate risk, and safeguard revenue. Our platform is powered by over 900 real-time, first-party data signals, enabling us to enrich customer profiles, detect suspicious activities, and streamline compliance workflows with unparalleled efficiency and transparency. We are experiencing rapid growth, driven by strategic partnerships with industry-leading digital brands such as Revolut, Wise, and Bilt, and we are seeking a seasoned SRE to join our dynamic team.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in upholding and enhancing the robustness of our systems. This involves the meticulous implementation of SRE best practices, ensuring that our services not only meet but exceed industry standards for availability and performance. You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems, leveraging powerful tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack. This proactive approach will enable us to identify and address potential issues before they impact our users.
- • A critical aspect of your responsibilities will be managing incident response with swift and decisive action, conducting thorough root cause analyses for any production issues that arise. Following these incidents, you will lead comprehensive postmortems, fostering a culture of continuous learning and driving iterative improvements to system reliability. Your expertise will be vital in continuously monitoring and optimizing the performance of our cloud infrastructure, with a keen eye on efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness, ensuring we maximize value from our cloud investments.
- • Automation will be a cornerstone of your work, as you will be tasked with automating routine tasks and complex processes to minimize manual intervention, thereby increasing operational efficiency and reducing the potential for human error. You will also play a key role in analyzing current system capacity and forecasting future growth requirements, ensuring our infrastructure is meticulously planned to scale seamlessly with our increasing user base and data volumes.
- • Defining, measuring, and diligently monitoring Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) will be essential to guarantee that our services consistently meet their defined reliability targets. You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams, providing invaluable feedback and expert suggestions on new architectures and system designs, ensuring they are inherently built for reliability and optimal performance from the outset.
- • The development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for our architecture, infrastructure, and troubleshooting procedures will be a key deliverable, ensuring knowledge transfer and enabling efficient problem-solving across the team. You will also be part of an on-call rotation, providing essential support to guarantee the continuous availability of our applications and infrastructure, a testament to our commitment to our clients.
- • Furthermore, you will ensure that our systems adhere to stringent security and compliance requirements, conducting regular audits and assessments in alignment with the internal security team’s guidelines. Staying abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends will be crucial, as you will evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure and refine our reliability practices accordingly. This role offers significant flexibility, with options for a hybrid schedule based in Budapest, Hungary, or a fully remote position within Europe, allowing you to integrate work seamlessly into your life.
