📋 Description

• As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Delinea, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the unwavering availability, performance, and reliability of our critical SaaS applications hosted within a highly secure Azure environment. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure, particularly within a FedRAMP High authorized environment, demanding a deep understanding of NIST 800-53 controls and a proactive approach to audit readiness.
• You will be the primary point of contact for several key production SaaS applications, taking ownership of their operational health. This involves intricate troubleshooting of complex cloud infrastructure and application issues across multiple environments, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed our critical Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• A significant aspect of this role involves participating in an on-call rotation, which includes weekends and emergency situations, to provide immediate response and resolution to any critical incidents that may arise.
• You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust automation solutions. This includes creating and refining systems for monitoring, alert mitigation, telemetry collection, advanced log analysis, and streamlined incident response, thereby reducing manual toil and enhancing efficiency.
• Contributing to the comprehensive security posture of our systems is paramount. This includes the meticulous creation and maintenance of essential security documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and detailed runbooks, ensuring clarity and adherence to compliance requirements.
• Applying cutting-edge observability best practices is a core responsibility. You will leverage a suite of tools for logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting to proactively identify, diagnose, and mitigate potential issues before they impact our users.
• Collaboration is key to success. You will partner closely with our engineering, security, and product teams to embed SRE principles from the inception of new services. This ensures that reliability is a foundational element, not an afterthought, driving continuous improvements across our platform.
• Leading and actively contributing to post-incident reviews is crucial for continuous learning and improvement. You will be responsible for identifying the root causes of incidents, documenting lessons learned, and implementing effective preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
• This role requires a strong background in integrating, upgrading, securing, and supporting software systems across diverse and heterogeneous environments, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
• You will be responsible for the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of complex cloud infrastructure and application issues, utilizing your expertise to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
• Implementing and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines is a core function, enabling repeatable, scalable, and version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
• You will also contribute to the design and implementation of redundancy, backup, and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring business continuity and data integrity in all scenarios.
• A deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, VLANs, NAT, NACLs, load balancing, VPN tunnels, DNS, DHCP, and packet filtering, is essential for diagnosing and resolving network-related issues.
• You will play a key role in maintaining and supporting our infrastructure within a FedRAMP High authorized environment, ensuring continuous compliance with stringent NIST 800-53 controls and actively participating in audit readiness activities.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Administration.
• Proven hands-on experience as a Cloud Administrator with Azure, including microservices on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), cloud concepts, and cloud security.
• Direct experience operating in FedRAMP environments, with working knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls, ConMon requirements, and boundary protection.
• Scripting and programming experience: PowerShell, Python, and markup languages such as XML, JSON, and YAML.
• Infrastructure-as-code expertise with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics.
