Senior Social Media Manager

📋 Description

• • As the first Head of Social Media at Replit, you will own and optimize social media follower acquisition and conversion across the company’s mobile app and website properties, directly contributing to the mission of democratizing software development through natural language-powered application creation.
• • You will define and execute a data-driven social strategy that drives community engagement, brand awareness, and user activation by aligning social efforts with product launches, ecosystem initiatives, and GTM objectives.
• • Day to day, you will own social strategy by defining voice, content pillars, channels, cadence, and growth loops including reply strategies, quote-tweet patterns, meme language, and distribution tactics across Twitter/X, Meta (Facebook/IG), TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
• • You will run narrative campaigns for product launches, research updates, ecosystem partnerships, and community activations, ensuring each has clear goals, measurable outputs, and cross-functional alignment.
• • You will engage directly with the community by replying to comments, quote-tweeting key voices, building relationships with builders, media, and influencers, and participating in real-time conversations to foster trust and advocacy.
• • You will produce high-impact content including punchy posts, threads, memes, and explainer content that makes complex AI and agentic software concepts accessible, exciting, and shareable.
• • You will coordinate closely with marketing, comms, product, sales, engineering, and legal teams to ensure messaging accuracy, timing, brand safety, and risk control, especially during sensitive or high-visibility moments.
• • You will track and analyze performance metrics such as impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, click-through rates, and sentiment, using insights to iterate weekly and optimize for conversion and reach.
• • You will identify, engage, and manage influencer and ecosystem partnerships, including hiring key voices and creators to amplify Replit’s reach within the AI and developer communities.
• • You will monitor AI narratives and respond rapidly to FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) and misinformation, acting as a frontline defender of Replit’s reputation while coordinating internally on escalations.
• • You will leverage AI-native tools and agentic workflows to scale your own content output, staying at the forefront of how generative AI can enhance social media efficiency and creativity.
