📋 Description

• Senior Social Media Specialist at xstocks, Kraken – Own and scale social + community for xStocks globally, bridging product marketing, community, and culture to turn complex tokenized equity concepts into engaging, understandable content that drives awareness, participation, and retention.
• Day to day: Own xStocks social channels end-to-end; lead community management and growth through participation loops and campaigns; simplify complex topics like tokenized equities and market infrastructure into clear, engaging content; run social for launches and announcements; coordinate with product marketing, partnerships, and regional teams; produce always-on and reactive content; manage localisation (incl. CN/APAC); support partner amplification; build high-signal communities balancing education, participation, and entertainment; create copy and simple visuals; experiment across formats (threads, short-form, explainers); use social feedback to inform strategy; own performance metrics including reach, engagement, growth, and retention.

• What the person can learn or achieve: Deepen expertise in crypto and financial markets while mastering the translation of complex products into viral, educational content; gain end-to-end ownership of social strategy for a pioneering on-chain finance product; develop skills in community building, cross-functional collaboration, localisation, and data-driven iteration in a high-velocity, mission-driven environment; contribute directly to the global adoption of tokenized assets and financial innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in social media, content, or community roles, preferably in crypto, fintech, or consumer tech
• Strong understanding of content performance on platforms like X, TikTok, and Instagram — knowing what drives audience engagement beyond aesthetics
• Ability to simplify complex crypto and financial market concepts into clear, engaging storytelling
• Experience building and managing online communities, with bonus for familiarity with gamified systems (e.g., points/rewards)
• Comfort creating end-to-end content (copy + scrappy visuals) and working cross-functionally in fast-moving environments
• Data-aware mindset: tracking what works, adjusting quickly, and using AI tools as leverage
• Self-directed, responsive, and plugged into crypto Twitter and real-time market conversations
