- • Design, build, and manage data pipelines and integrations to enable medical insights supporting pet health initiatives.
- • Develop machine learning and rules-based classification applications using IDEXX’s core clinical data assets.
- • Serve as a senior member of a high-performing Scrum team, contributing to business planning and technical strategy.
- • Innovate in technology, team processes, and development practices within an Agile environment.
- • Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, QA engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters.
- • Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) to deploy and manage scalable software and data solutions.
- • Implement CI/CD systems using GitHub Actions and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- • Work with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
- • Integrate and manage relational databases such as AWS MySQL Aurora for clinical data storage and retrieval.
- • Leverage cloud object storage (e.g., S3) for efficient data management and access.
- • Test and validate APIs using tooling such as Postman to ensure system reliability and performance.
- • Apply rules engines (e.g., Drools) to implement business logic for clinical decision support systems.
- • Utilize Databricks for data processing and analytics workflows.
- • Apply domain-driven design (DDD) principles to structure complex software systems.
- • Mentor junior team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
- • Rapidly learn and adapt to evolving technologies, data sources, and business requirements.
- • Participate in a collaborative, cross-functional team culture that values communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- • Contribute to initiatives that improve veterinary care through data-driven clinical insights.
- • Engage with a global team supporting pet health, safe drinking water, and livestock disease protection across 175+ countries.
