• • As a Senior Software Developer focused on Frontend Foundations at Jane Technologies, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core infrastructure and developer experience for our entire engineering organization. This position is designed for an individual who thrives on tackling complex technical challenges, possesses a deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, and is passionate about empowering fellow developers to build exceptional products.
• • You will be instrumental in leading medium-complexity platform projects from inception to completion, requiring minimal supervision. This includes taking ownership of the design, development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of critical systems such as JavaScript tooling, build systems, and Module Federation infrastructure. Your contributions will directly enhance the reliability and efficiency of Jane's frontend ecosystem.
• • A key responsibility will be contributing to and evolving our Module Federation infrastructure. This involves working within established patterns, identifying opportunities for expansion, and architecting new systems to support the growing demands of our platform. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration and efficient module sharing across various applications.
• • You will be a champion for developer experience, actively seeking out and implementing improvements through automation, enhanced tooling, and a proactive approach to refining the areas you work within. The goal is to make the development process smoother, faster, and more enjoyable for all Janers.
• • Active participation in Burrito, our comprehensive design system, is essential. You will contribute to maintaining the quality, test coverage, and documentation standards for our design components across both web and React Native platforms. This ensures consistency and a high-quality user experience across all Jane products.
• • This role demands a strong peer presence within the team. You will be expected to conduct thorough code reviews, communicate asynchronously with clarity and precision, and demonstrate an innate ability to unblock yourself and others without requiring extensive guidance. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are paramount.
• • You will be an advocate for the pragmatic adoption of AI within the team. This involves identifying high-value integration points for AI technologies, mentoring colleagues on effective AI workflows, and contributing to the standardization of successful AI practices. • • The Frontend Foundations team is at the forefront of evolving Jane's frontend platform.
