- • Architect and deliver rock-solid authentication & authorization services for 400+ U.S. financial institutions that serve millions of end-users. You will own the Auth domain end-to-end: from refining OAuth 2.1 / OpenID Connect flows, rolling out password-less Passkey support, to hardening biometric and MFA flows that keep fraudsters out and consumers safe.
- • Drive the strategic split of our monolith into a cloud-native, Kubernetes-orchestrated micro-service that will become the single source of truth for identity across web, mobile and partner channels. You will define service boundaries, craft event-driven contracts, implement circuit-breakers and blue-green deployments that guarantee five-nines uptime for mission-critical banking traffic.
- • Write clean, testable C# 10 code in .NET 8, leveraging minimal APIs, MediatR, FluentValidation and MassTransit to build horizontally scalable services. Profile under load, optimize hot paths down to sub-100 ms latency and reduce AWS spend by rightsizing ECS tasks, tuning RDS Postgres indexes and adopting Graviton2/3 instances where profitable.
- • Champion security-first engineering: threat-model every pull request, enforce OWASP top-10 controls, rotate secrets via AWS Secrets Manager, automate CVE scanning in CI and participate in quarterly pen-test remediation sprints. Your code will undergo SOC-2 and PCI-DSS audits—ship bullet-proof artifacts the first time.
- • Pair with Product, UX and Compliance to translate FFIEC and NIST guidelines into intuitive customer journeys. Rapidly prototype flows in TypeScript + React, gather feedback from stakeholder demos and iterate before a single line reaches production.
- • Mentor mid-level engineers through pair programming, RFC reviews and brown-bag sessions. Foster a blameless culture where post-mortems focus on systems, not individuals, and every outage becomes a learning artifact stored in the team’s Runbook garden.
- • Exploit modern AI tooling: generate unit-test scaffolding with GitHub Copilot, write self-healing Canary deployments powered by anomaly detection and free human cycles for higher-order design work. Measure productivity gains and share best practices across the globe.
- • Own production excellence—build SLO dashboards in CloudWatch+X-Ray, page on actionable alerts only and conduct game-day chaos exercises that prove our failover strategies. When the rare incident strikes, you are the calm voice that leads the war-room to resolution.
- • Contribute to the larger Access Softek engineering community: publish internal tech blogs, open-source reusable libraries and represent the Auth team in architecture guilds that set standards for 300+ engineers worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional C# development including .NET Core / .NET 6+ in high-scale web services
- • Proven expertise with OAuth 2.x, OpenID Connect, SAML or similar identity protocols
- • Solid SQL design skills (Postgres or SQL Server) and experience writing performant, transactional code
- • Demonstrated ability to refactor legacy systems into testable, pattern-based architectures (GoF, SOLID, DDD)
- • Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, RDS, SSM, Secrets Manager) and containerized micro-services
- • Nice-to-have: React or TypeScript fluency, Auth0 / Passkey / FIDO2 projects, PCI-DSS or SOC-2 exposure
