- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Humana Inc., you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining robust, compliant software solutions that power pharmacy benefit platforms used by millions, directly contributing to improved health outcomes and consumer experiences.
- • You will leverage your expertise in .NET, Python, and cloud technologies to design, build, and optimize scalable systems while ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance, and minimal operational risk through standardized processes and proactive issue resolution.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new features and maintaining existing applications using .NET and Python, working with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular) to support full-stack functionality.
- • You will design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure or GCP, utilizing containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to enable reliable, automated deployments.
- • Managing PostgreSQL databases for performance, integrity, and scalability, including writing efficient queries, optimizing schema design, and ensuring data security and backup strategies.
- • Leading and contributing to CI/CD pipeline development using Git and DevOps practices, automating testing, integration, and deployment workflows to improve release velocity and system stability.
- • Collaborating across teams to standardize quality assurance practices, oversee testing and debugging efforts, and drive knowledge transfer to reduce silos and improve collective ownership of code quality.
- • Applying agile methodologies and project management principles to plan, execute, and deliver software increments aligned with business goals and healthcare industry timelines.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
- • At least 5+ years of experience in .NET application development with familiarity in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular).
- • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP), APIs, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- • Expertise in PostgreSQL for database management and operations, including query optimization and schema design.
- • Proficiency with Git and DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- • Knowledge of healthcare domain, including industry standards and regulations such as HIPAA and CMS requirements.
- • Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and project management principles.
