- • Independently drive and deliver medium-to-large software projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with departmental and company goals.
- • Collaborate proactively with Product Management to define business requirements, scope options, and translate them into technical solutions.
- • Architect and implement high-quality, scalable software solutions for complex systems, emphasizing clean, well-tested code and clear extension points.
- • Lead architecture reviews for multi-developer projects and spearhead design changes to critical single systems.
- • Serve as a technical expert in key systems, introducing new paradigms and improving existing infrastructure for performance and maintainability.
- • Implement tooling and process improvements that enhance team velocity and engineering efficacy across the organization.
- • Work closely with product leadership to inform and align the product roadmap with technical feasibility and strategic objectives.
- • Provide reliable estimates for medium-sized engineering initiatives and build consensus across multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- • Onboard and mentor junior and peer engineers, unblocking them through knowledge sharing and hands-on guidance.
- • Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive engineering culture and actively participate in the interview and hiring process.
- • Proactively monitor production systems for bugs and performance issues, responding swiftly to maintain system reliability.
- • Master the daily engineering toolchain and initiate upgrades or improvements to enhance developer experience.
- • Create new technical documentation and holistically refactor existing documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for the team.
- • Work in a hybrid model from Ironclad’s offices in San Francisco, CA, with part-time telecommuting as an option.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline
- • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related field
- • Proficiency in TypeScript, ReactJS, Node, Java, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, .NET, MongoDB, C#, C, and HTML & CSS
