- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Awin Group AG, you will be part of a cross-functional, service-oriented team working on extending and maintaining the Affiliate Marketing platform, with a significant impact on system efficiency, technical quality, and team effectiveness.
- • You will design and build reliable services by writing clean, secure, and well-tested code, taking ownership of applications across the full lifecycle—from design and implementation to operation—while proactively identifying improvement opportunities and technical risks.
- • You’ll join the Billing & Payments tribe, owning a core domain of the business: how customers are billed and partners get paid, within an engineering culture that values pragmatic solutions, automation, strong ownership, and continuous improvement.
- • You will mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing, support agile ceremonies, troubleshoot production issues, and gain deeper expertise in online and affiliate marketing while working with modern technologies like Java/Spring, AWS, Node.js, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- • Strong foundation in OOP and comfort working with multiple programming languages, ideally including Java/Spring
- • Hands-on experience designing AWS-based systems, microservices with REST APIs, and event-driven architectures
- • Solid understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and SQL
- • Proven collaboration in cross-functional teams with Product, UX, and Agile roles, with extensive exposure to agile processes, particularly Scrum
