- • Develop and implement microservices for DataBee, a SaaS security, risk, and compliance platform originally built internally at Comcast and now offered to Fortune 500 CISOs and federal government customers.
- • Collaborate with engineering, product, and user experience teams to understand requirements, refine deliverables, and estimate development efforts.
- • Build self-contained microservices and application programming interfaces (APIs) to support core business logic for cybersecurity applications.
- • Design and develop ETL applications capable of deployment on cloud platforms to process and analyze security data.
- • Integrate security features into development workflows and adopt a DevSecOps culture to ensure secure-by-design practices.
- • Use and enhance tools for identifying, mitigating, and resolving production incidents in a high-velocity engineering environment.
- • Create reusable software components and libraries to be leveraged across multiple teams within the DataBee platform.
- • Participate in production deployments and assist with customer issue triage to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- • Apply established coding standards, global design patterns, and content management systems in alignment with team practices.
- • Work closely with engineering leaders, architects, and DevOps engineers to define functional and technical requirements for the platform.
- • Build and deliver operational insights and metrics to support managerial decision-making and business oversight.
- • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in addressing complex technical and operational challenges.
- • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as required.
- • Contribute to establishing a startup culture within the DataBee business unit, promoting agile practices and team empowerment.
- • Ensure all development activities are thoroughly documented and aligned with business and functional priorities.
- • Support the integration of Comcast’s proven in-house cybersecurity technologies into external SaaS offerings for enterprise and government clients.
- • Adhere to Comcast’s Operating Principles and Net Promoter System by prioritizing customer experience, inclusion, diversity, and team collaboration.
- • Actively participate in Agile Scrum development cycles, using GitHub and Jira for task tracking and code management.
- • Apply Python or Golang unit test frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability across microservices.
- • Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of services in cloud-native environments.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SaaS product development practices and security compliance standards.
