- • As a Senior Software Engineer on DomainTools' backend team, you will play a critical role in researching, developing, and delivering cutting-edge code for near-real-time, large-volume data systems that power the company's mission to create a safe, secure, and open Internet for everyone. Your work will directly contribute to predicting, detecting, expanding, processing, delivering, and monitoring changes across the Internet to support global security practitioners.
- • You will design, code, and maintain large-scale data collection and processing systems, discover and validate new data sets to enhance customer value, and apply creative problem-solving to complex systems while researching and implementing cutting-edge technologies and techniques.
- • Working closely with small, highly collaborative Operations and Development teams, you will architect and deploy high-impact security solutions in a hybrid cloud environment, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and evangelizing DevOps culture through observability, metrics, and security best practices.
- • The team is building a developer-centric platform for continuous integration and deployment of world-class security applications, curating best-in-class tools and filling gaps to improve engineering productivity and reduce operational toil.
- • In this role, you will provide code reviews, design feedback, demos, technical requirements, and documentation, while delivering accurate scoping, estimates for time, capacity, and costs, and improving the lives of coworkers by accelerating engineering velocity and increasing consistency.

🎯 Requirements
- • Professional development experience using GoLang, Rust, or equivalent languages: 5+ years
- • Experience with JavaScript and standard web browser APIs: 3+ years
- • Cloud infrastructure experience in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes: 3+ years
- • Scalable data engineering experience using data stores such as ElasticSearch, Postgres, CockroachDB, MySQL, Hive, or Spark: 3+ years
- • Linux/Unix experience: 5+ years
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to coordinate between teams
