- • As a Senior Software Engineer at Perseus Group's Optimal Blue division, you will serve as an experienced individual contributor responsible for solving complex technical challenges, leading multiple initiatives independently, and collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-impact SaaS solutions that drive innovation and anticipate downstream system effects.
- • You will analyze, design, develop, debug, and maintain applications using a diverse technology stack including .NET/C#, Java, Python, SQL, Angular, and related frameworks, ensuring code is clean, scalable, efficient, and aligned with both business requirements and technical best practices.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include participating in software design sessions to translate user needs into technical specifications, writing detailed technical documentation, conducting code reviews, contributing to team knowledge sharing, and assisting in the integration of data storage solutions while supporting release management and other standard engineering tasks.
- • You will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and QA engineers to ensure seamless delivery of features, validate solutions against requirements, and maintain alignment between technical execution and product vision throughout the development lifecycle.
- • This role expects you to independently lead two or more projects or significant tasks from conception through deployment, demonstrating ownership, foresight, and the ability to manage complexity without constant oversight.
- • You will contribute to a culture of technical excellence by advocating for and implementing unit testing, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and agile methodologies, while mentoring peers and elevating team-wide engineering standards.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- • Five (5) or more years of hands-on software development experience with proven ability to deliver complex applications.
- • Intermediate proficiency in two or more of the following: .NET/C#, SQL or other databases, Angular, Java, Python, Azure cloud services, AWS cloud services, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), C++, or AI/ML concepts.
- • Advanced experience with unit testing frameworks and tools, version control (Git), and agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- • Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Proven track record of leading multiple initiatives independently and anticipating downstream impacts of technical decisions.
