📋 Description

• Design, build, and enhance Cority’s EHS+ software platform across one or more product streams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and fellow engineers to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that align with platform goals and customer needs.
• Contribute to the long-term technical direction of the platform by evaluating architectural decisions, proposing improvements, and advocating for best practices in software development.
• Leverage strong technical skills to deliver immediate value through the development of new features, system enhancements, and performance optimizations.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collective ownership.
• Work in a fully remote, dynamic, and fast-paced engineering environment that emphasizes collaboration, autonomy, and accountability.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of features from concept through deployment, including design, implementation, testing, and monitoring in production.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand user pain points and translate them into technical solutions that improve safety, environmental compliance, quality, and sustainability outcomes for customers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure Cority’s platform remains at the forefront of EHS+ innovation.
• Support the team’s agile processes by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming sessions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge through documentation, internal workshops, and peer feedback to strengthen the overall engineering team.
• Ensure software solutions meet security, reliability, and compliance standards required by Cority’s enterprise customers in regulated industries.
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices to improve deployment frequency and system stability.
• Work within a team that values transparency, psychological safety, and a strong employee culture as recognized by industry awards.
• Adapt to evolving priorities while maintaining focus on delivering high-impact solutions that prevent risks across environmental, health, safety, quality, and sustainability domains.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a track record of delivering complex software solutions in a production environment
• Strong proficiency in modern software development practices, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies
• Experience working in a remote, collaborative engineering team with distributed members
