📋 Description

• • As a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform Services team at Owkin, you will build and maintain scalable data management and processing systems on cloud infrastructure that support complex biomedical research and business intelligence use cases across their full lifecycle, ensuring high standards of privacy, security, and compliance.
• • Day to day, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services at the intersection of agentic AI and petabytes of multimodal patient data; own critical platform components end-to-end; drive technical standards and architectural reviews; mentor junior/mid-level engineers; collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, researchers, and data scientists; support and improve CI/CD pipelines and security practices; participate in incident response; and enhance system observability, resiliency, and performance.
• • You will join Owkin, an AI company building the first Biology Super Intelligence (BASI) by combining biological large language models, multimodal patient data, and agentic software, with its AI copilot Owkin K and LLM Owkin Zero used by researchers and clinicians to accelerate diagnostics and therapies.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, AI-integrated systems, and scalable scientific computing while making a direct impact on bioinformaticians, data scientists, researchers, and Owkin partners by enabling secure, efficient data sharing and accelerating scientific workflows.
