📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer at Pebl Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to simplify global employment through its AI-powered Global Work Platform™, enabling businesses to hire, pay, and manage talent across 185+ countries with compliance and confidence.
• Your work will directly impact user acquisition, engagement, and retention by designing and scaling innovative solutions within the Growth Engineering team, contributing to Pebl’s vision of helping companies scale faster and compete harder in the global marketplace.
• Day to day, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
• You will architect, develop, and maintain applications and services using TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment, ensuring reliability, performance, and security at scale.
• You will optimize systems and processes to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement, leveraging data-driven insights to refine user journeys and growth funnels.
• You will lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, advocating for best practices in software craftsmanship and technical excellence.
• You will mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth through guidance and code reviews.
• You will actively participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to uphold high engineering standards and ensure architectural consistency across teams.
• You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, applying strong diagnostic skills to minimize downtime and maintain system stability.
• You will stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, continuously evaluating and recommending enhancements to Pebl’s technology stack to drive innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development and serverless architecture.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3.
• Proven experience with software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a lean mindset focused on delivering customer value through iterative improvement and waste reduction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented approach to cross-functional work.
• Experience with growth-focused projects or optimizing user journeys is considered a plus.
