- • Join Trimble’s Common Platform team to architect high-impact features and champion AI-powered workflows that accelerate integration and deliver unparalleled value.
- • Design, implement, and optimize robust solutions across the full application stack while leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and automate routine tasks.
- • Champion modern engineering practices by advocating for AI-native development, sharing insights, and driving end-to-end software lifecycle ownership from requirements to deployment.
- • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ship intuitive, efficient software while thriving in ambiguity by defining product requirements and leveraging AI to accelerate builds.
- • Work within Trimble’s Transportation & Logistics segment, contributing to solutions that make freight movement safer, simpler, and more efficient for a global network of shippers, carriers, brokers, and 3PLs.
- • Be part of a global technology leader connecting physical and digital worlds through precise positioning, modeling, and data analytics across construction, geospatial, and transportation industries.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping enterprise-level software applications.
- • Proven proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- • Expert-level proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Gemini CLI), including debugging AI hallucinations and maintaining engineering standards.
- • Strong experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures on Azure/AWS.
- • Solid skills in SQL and NoSQL database schema design and data modeling.
- • Demonstrated understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
- • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- • Strong communication skills to articulate technical intent clearly to both AI agents and human stakeholders.
