- • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the development of innovative software systems used by Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
- • Work as part of a distributed development team in a dynamic, agile, and fast-paced environment.
- • Engage in all phases of the software engineering process including research, design, development, integration, deployment, and testing.
- • Support development and integration activities focused on curating synthetic data for use in simulation applications.
- • Work specifically with geospatial data in raster formats as part of synthetic data curation efforts.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software systems meet DoD operational requirements and technical specifications.
- • Apply modern software engineering practices to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for federal defense applications.
- • Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and system architecture discussions to maintain quality and consistency across the development pipeline.
- • Ensure compliance with federal standards and security protocols applicable to DoD software systems.
- • Adapt to evolving project requirements and priorities in a mission-critical defense technology environment.
- • Utilize agile methodologies to manage tasks, track progress, and deliver iterative software increments on schedule.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues related to geospatial data processing and simulation integration.
- • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and best practices in defense-related software development.
- • Communicate technical progress, risks, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows, tooling, and testing frameworks.
