- • Senior Software Engineer role at Lorikeet Software Pty Ltd, a fast-growing AI-powered customer support company serving fintechs, healthtechs, marketplaces, and delivery services with over $50M in funding and enterprise clients processing over 1M support tickets annually.
- • Day to day, you'll take ownership of hard problems from idea to production, working closely with coding agents as a core part of your workflow, building tooling and feedback systems to make them effective, and applying engineering judgment to determine when AI-generated code is ready to ship.
- • You'll join the founding New York engineering team as Lorikeet opens its first US office, helping shape the team and product from the ground up in an engineering-led culture where everyone owns user outcomes and ships end-to-end features.
- • You'll work at the technical frontier of AI-first SaaS, defining UI/UX, capabilities, and data models for a product category that doesn't yet exist, using a stack of TypeScript, React/Remix, PrismaORM, NestJS, and Python while mentoring less experienced engineers as the team grows.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience shipping code at a top-tier engineering organization, ideally with startup or scaleup exposure
- • Comfortable across the full stack and excited to lead ambitious, ambiguous projects requiring strong technical decision-making and product/design instincts
- • Experienced working with coding agents as a core development workflow — not just as autocomplete, but through prompting, reviewing, iterating, and shipping via agent conversation
- • Keen to mentor and support less experienced engineers as the team grows in New York
