📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer at Bastion Technologies Inc. to build core infrastructure for the stablecoin platform, handling custody, transfers, issuance, and compliance workflows that process real money and require exceptional reliability and security.
• Design and ship services within product verticals (Custody, On/Off Ramps, Issuance, or Shared Services), collaborating with product managers, compliance, and engineers in small, cross-functional teams where work ships fast and has direct customer impact.
• Join a 30+ person regulated fintech startup building financial infrastructure for modern businesses, with a hybrid-but-flexible work model based in the SoHo office in New York City, typically in-office 2-3 days per week.
• Take initiative to ship features, improve observability, strengthen the codebase, and solve hard problems in a regulated domain where contributions matter immediately, with clear 30/90/180-day milestones for ramping, owning services, and driving cross-service impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Go and TypeScript/Node.js, with experience in Rust as needed for specific services.
• Experience with service patterns including gRPC, REST, GraphQL, or tRPC, particularly for backend-for-frontend (BFF) architectures.
• Strong background in data and async processing using Postgres, Redis, Kafka, and workflow management with Temporal.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, and Incident.io.
• Familiarity with hardware-backed key isolation (e.g., Nitro Enclaves) for sensitive operations and a compliance-first mindset in regulated financial environments.
