📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer, Android Test Engineering role at Reddit focused on building tools, test frameworks, and defining processes to enable quality across all engineering teams.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and evolving test automation frameworks, analyzing production issues to identify test gaps, maintaining test infrastructure stability, troubleshooting with cross-functional teams, and influencing engineering practices around unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- • Part of the Quality Engineering org within Reddit, a mission-driven company with over 100,000 active communities and 126 million daily active unique visitors, dedicated to fostering open and authentic conversations online.
- • Opportunity to shape quality standards across Reddit’s development pipelines, gain deep expertise in mobile test automation, and lead initiatives that improve software reliability and engineering culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as an SDET or Software Engineer for Android platform
- • 3+ years in Android development
- • Experience designing and building scalable automated test frameworks for mobile applications using Espresso and/or UIAutomator with Kotlin
- • Experience in unit, snapshot, and end-to-end testing of Android applications
- • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and QA methodologies for mobile releases
- • Working proficiency in verbal and written English
