📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer – Applied AI for Corporate Systems at Aircall Inc. is a pivotal role focused on designing, building, and deploying AI-powered features that enhance internal corporate systems and employee productivity. This position directly contributes to Aircall’s mission of leveraging AI to transform customer communications by extending intelligent automation and decision support to back-office and corporate functions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
• The role involves developing AI-driven tools and integrations that streamline workflows in areas such as HR, finance, legal, and operations — reducing manual effort, improving data accuracy, and enabling faster, smarter decisions. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, translating cutting-edge models into production-ready systems that serve internal users and support Aircall’s rapid growth.
• Day to day, you will: design and implement scalable backend services and APIs that power AI features for corporate systems; collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to integrate machine learning models into production environments; build robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and enrich structured and unstructured data from internal sources; develop monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure reliability and performance of AI-driven applications; write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript following engineering best practices; participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile ceremonies to continuously improve team velocity and quality.
• You will also: partner with product, security, and compliance teams to ensure AI applications meet internal governance standards and data privacy requirements; experiment with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning techniques to improve model accuracy and relevance in enterprise contexts; contribute to the evolution of Aircall’s internal AI platform by identifying reusable components and patterns; mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proven experience building and deploying backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with machine learning model integration, including working with LLMs, embeddings, or traditional ML models in production
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL and NoSQL databases, and ETL/ELT processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, distributed teams
