- • As a Senior Backend Engineer at CreditGenie, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's mobile-first financial wellness platform by designing and building core systems that power financial products, with direct impact on users' financial stability.
- • You will own backend systems end-to-end—from architecture to deployment—ensuring high performance, security, and scalability, while leading greenfield development on new projects from scratch that will define the platform’s future.
- • You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and engineering teams to build impactful features, drive technical direction, and champion best practices in system design, coding, testing, and DevOps.
- • You will have the opportunity to grow as a technical leader in a fast-growing fintech startup backed by Khosla Ventures and led by industry pioneers from PayPal, Square, and Cash App, where your work directly contributes to inclusive finance and long-term user financial health.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Expertise in architecting and productionizing large-scale distributed systems.
- • Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and secure coding practices, with experience building resilient systems that meet high security and regulatory standards.
- • Comfortable working across multiple technical areas and collaborating effectively with frontend/mobile teams.
- • Passion for tackling complex challenges with structured thinking, analytical rigor, and a bias for action in iterative environments.
