- • Architect and deliver end-to-end features for Findem’s 3D-data-driven talent platform, owning the journey from requirement gathering through production release and post-launch optimization.
- • Write clean, bug-free, and production-grade backend code in Node.js/JavaScript, leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Cline, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate delivery while maintaining readability, testability, and long-term maintainability.
- • Design modular, service-oriented architectures that scale horizontally across multiple servers and clients, ensuring sub-second response times when querying petabytes of career and company data spanning 10+ years.
- • Collaborate with data science, product, and frontend teams to translate complex 3D data pipelines into elegant APIs, real-time search endpoints, and analytics dashboards that power talent acquisition for Fortune 500 customers.
- • Champion performance and reliability: build automated test suites, implement CI/CD best practices, and monitor production systems to achieve 99.9% uptime while shipping new features weekly in a fast-moving startup environment.
- • Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies across SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases, fine-tuning queries and indexing schemes to deliver high accuracy and efficiency at scale.
- • Participate in architecture reviews and design discussions, proposing innovative solutions that balance speed of delivery with code quality, security, and long-term scalability.
- • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
- • Work with partial overlap with US Pacific time zones (early evening IST) twice a week for sprint planning and customer feedback sessions, ensuring seamless global collaboration.
- • Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging backend technologies, AI coding assistants, and cloud-native patterns, then pragmatically integrating the best ideas into the stack.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–15 years of backend engineering experience with demonstrable expertise in Node.js and JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, RESTful API design, and microservices architecture.
- • Proven fluency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cline, Cursor, or similar—must be able to write effective prompts, review AI-generated code, and enforce quality standards.
- • Strong analytical and system-design skills, with a track record of building high-throughput, low-latency applications that handle large-scale data.
- • Willingness to remain an individual contributor or collaborative team member; explicitly not seeking managerial or techno-managerial roles.
- • Based in Bangalore or open to relocation; flexible to overlap with US hours when required.
