• • As a Senior Software Engineer, Backend, you will be a critical member of the CB Node team, responsible for managing and enhancing the blockchain nodes that serve as Coinbase's vital connection to over 55 different blockchains.
• • This role places you at the intersection of cutting-edge blockchain technology and robust traditional web2 systems, requiring a unique blend of expertise.
• • You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of blockchain connectivity for key Coinbase products, including CB Wallet, Retail, Institutional, and Prime services.
• • A significant aspect of your work will involve the development and launch of new nodes to support the integration of new assets, ensuring Coinbase remains at the forefront of asset support.
• • You will be instrumental in initiatives such as Blockchain Traffic Management, implementing sophisticated stateful failover mechanisms between multiple external providers to guarantee high availability.
• • Your responsibilities will extend to maintaining data consistency and ensuring block freshness across our blockchain infrastructure, which is paramount for the reliability of critical internal services like our wallets and indexers.
• • You will be tasked with ensuring the overall reliability, scalability, and performance of the entire blockchain platform stack, tackling complex engineering challenges.
