📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain a complex Java-based high-performance OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) engine, specifically the CALC engine, which is a multi-dimensional calculation engine with its own modelling language.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure correctness and quality of the engine, alongside calculation performance.
• Work on the core of the engine, where correctness and quality are as important as calculation performance.
• Contribute to the development of the engine's modelling language and its dynamic compilation into efficient runtime objects.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize features and improvements for the engine.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java and OLAP technologies.
• Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with other components of the Aera Decision Cloud platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and OLAP technologies.
• Proven track record of designing and developing high-performance OLAP engines.
• Experience with multi-dimensional calculation engines and their modelling languages.
• Strong understanding of Java and its ecosystem, including Java 8 and later versions.
• Experience with dynamic compilation and runtime object creation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
