📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer (CMS) at WA.Technology, you will play a key role in designing, building, and continuously improving the backend systems that power the company’s iGaming platform, with a specific focus on the Content Management System (CMS). Your work will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and performance of a platform used by operators to launch and manage Casino, Sportsbook, Lottery, and Fantasy businesses in emerging markets.
• Day to day, you will collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions; design and develop scalable, secure backend applications using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS; maintain and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations; drive code quality through testing, code reviews, and performance optimization; support CI/CD pipelines; and champion modern backend technologies, including AI-assisted development tools.
• WA.Technology is a B2B supplier of iGaming solutions with a rapidly growing client base across emerging markets. The company offers a state-of-the-art, fully scalable iGaming platform with over 75+ game providers, 15,000+ games, and multi-currency support across 80+ payment methods. With offices in Malta, Lisbon, Sofia, London, and Bucharest, the company operates under a hybrid work model that balances in-person collaboration with remote flexibility.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in CMS architecture, high-throughput backend systems, and scalable microservices. You will have the opportunity to lead technical discussions, influence architecture decisions, mentor peers through knowledge sharing, and gain hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools — all while contributing to a product that enables operators to build customized gaming solutions at scale.
