- • Senior Software Engineer role on the Core Data team in London, building systems that power Hudl’s understanding of sport at scale, including player and team identification, highlight processing, and analytics.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and evolving APIs, distributed systems, and large-scale data pipelines for the Global Sports Library (GSL), ensuring consistency across Hudl’s platform.
- • The team builds shared capabilities used across Hudl’s ecosystem, supporting teams, athletes, and fans worldwide by enabling video capture, data analysis, and highlight sharing.
- • The role offers opportunities to lead technical direction, mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and influence scalability, entity resolution, and data consistency challenges while fostering Agile practices and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong technical proficiency with extensive experience in full-stack engineering, cloud-based systems, TDD, and CI/CD.
- • Technical coaching experience, including translating requirements, creating architectural proposals, and guiding engineers through implementation.
- • Collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to support teammates and contribute to collective success.
- • Mentor mentality, enjoying skill development in others through code reviews and pair programming.
- • Experience with C#, GraphQL, Elastic, MongoDB, and AWS (nice-to-have).
- • Background in media at scale, including video encoding and on-demand rendering (nice-to-have).
